Lucky Dog Ranch opened in the Spring of 2025, with a mission to save as many dogs as we can. A unique non-profit rescue and sanctuary, designed to reduce the stress that is typical in a traditional shelter. Our goal is to find dogs who have had a tough life- abused, abandoned, scared, lonely... and give them a place where they can thrive and become great family members to a Lucky new home. Each guest at Lucky Dog has their own soundproof house- complete with a bed, chair, tv, heat and air conditioning. This will get them acclimated to home living for their FUREVER family. They also have a doggy door, which leads to their own fenced in yard, complete with artificial turf. Daily walks and playtime are a must here at Lucky Dog Ranch, and with 40 sprawling acres of wooded trails and agility obstacles, there is definitely plenty of fun to be had every day! Our volunteers can be caught snuggling in these cozy cottages watching cartoons with the pups, giving them golf cart rides, or wandering through The Woods on a daily adventure. Every Lucky Dog is up-to-date on shots, definitely spoiled, and ready for adoption. These pups are ready to warm your hearts and your homes.

We recently started this non-profit rescue with a singular, heartfelt mission: to give dogs in need a completely stress-free place to live while they wait for their forever home. We know firsthand that traditional kennel life is incredibly hard on many dogs. The noise, the concrete, and the isolation can be terrifying. We know there had to be a better way – so we built one.
At Lucky Dog Ranch, our dogs live in custom Amish-built houses designed to feel exactly like a real home. Each house is equipped with air conditioning for the hot summers and heat for the chilly winters. When you peek inside on of our houses, you won’t see a cot on a concrete floor. You’ll see a dog lounging on their very own twin bed with comfy blankets, watching their own TV. They have their own food and water bowls inside, plenty of toys, and even a cozy chair specifically placed for visitors and volunteers to come sit with them. When it’s time to play, they step out into their own fenced-in yard with clean, soft pet turf.
We wanted to provide a true sanctuary, but creating this paradise comes at a high cost. The Amish-built houses, the secure fencing, the pet turf, the medical bills and the monthly electric bills to keep the air and heat running add up quickly.
Because we are non-profit, we rely solely on donations from wonderful humans like you. Without community support, every single expense comes straight out of our own pockets.
Lucky Dog Ranch is a 503 (c) non-profit organization that exists on donations and grants. Please consider donating to help dogs in need.
